Lohmann supports the BRH rescue dog team Westerwald

Of dogs, people and Lohmann – How the BRH Rettungshundestaffel Westerwald saves lives.
2022 BRH.jpg"Most of the time, old people or children are missing. They may be in a life-threatening situation from which they cannot find a way out without help. This is where we come in and our dogs track down the missing people," reports Carsten Groth, platoon leader and expert advisor rescue dogs.

The BRH Rettungshundestaffel Westerwald e.V. was called to almost 50 missions in the districts of Altenkirchen, Neuwied and Westerwald last year. "The helpers work with great team spirit and commitment for the safety of us all. As a major employer in the region, we would like to support just such an important honorary office," says Philip Gabriel, Head of Marketing Communications, in praise of the important work of the rescue dog squad. Therefore, the adhesive tape manufacturer from Neuwied donates € 1,000 to the associtation. "The financial support from Lohmann comes at the perfect time for us, because our old vehicle, with which we come to the missions, is already 25 years old and urgently needs to be replaced," says Carsten Groth. "Since we finance ourselves exclusively through donations, a new vehicle is a major purchase for our association." The rescue dog team Westerwald with its nearly 50 members and 11 tested dogs is constantly looking for new members and financial supporters.
