What do we expect from our suppliers?

In order to make transparent and reliable decisions within the framework of procurement management, the selection of suppliers in our company follows a structured process. To continuously improve the quality, service and costs of our supply chain, Lohmann-koester suppliers must demonstrate their commitment in the following areas:

  • Quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 (mandatory), ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 13485
  • Active improvement of delivery performance and cost management using EDI connections and transport management portals
  • Acceptance of Lohmann-koester's terms of delivery and Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Transparency and digitalisation of business processes
  • Continuous improvement of product costs and the terms and conditions offered
  • Full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. REACH and RoHS)

Sustainability standards

In order to meet Lohmann's sustainability goals, suppliers must fulfil important environmental and social criteria, including:

ISO 14000 certification for environmental management.
Social responsibility standards such as ISO 26000, ISO 45000 and SA 8000.
Human rights and labour practices: We expect compliance with international human rights standards and the abolition of child labour and modern slavery.

Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC)

All suppliers must acknowledge and comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct. This code ensures that our suppliers operate ethically and sustainably, with a focus on environmental protection, human rights and fair business practices.
